Culture & Cocktails: An Evening with ADC

Culture & Cocktails, An Evening with ADC  is our premier event showcasing the various cultures of Africa & its Diaspora through music, dance, storytelling and fashion. Join us for an evening of performances from artists of the Diaspora. The purpose of this program is—through culture and art—to educate attendees on the vast differences between peoples of African descent, as well as to celebrate the many similarities. Buy your ticket early—our past events have been standing room only! INDULJ RESTAURANT
1208 U Street, NW, Washington, DC
6:30-8:30 PM

Join us as on Tuesday, February 22 from 6:30 pm-8:30 pm @ Indulj Restaurant (http://www.induljdc.com) as we groove to the reggae and go-go sounds of Sweet Melodi & Harmoni Black, Anna Mwalagho with her spoken word and Tolu Mide with her contemporary gospel soul & Afro pop. Also joining us is visual artist, Tendani Mpulubusi El who will be creating live art during the performances. Get funky as we break it down with an
East African drum session.

Our partner, Sylvie Bello, Executive Director of the Cameroon American Council, will be there to give you more information about the new African Investment and Diaspora Act (AIDA) Bill that was introduced by Congressman Bobby Rush.

It's information and entertainment that you won't want to miss!

Make sure to purchase your tickets here before we sell out! Our last Culture & Cocktails was standing room only... If you are interested in being a featured artist for future events, contact Evelyne Njuki, our Cultural Ambassador: enjuki@ad4change.org.

See you on the 22nd!
